Founded in 2010, Glean Consulting is a Chicago-based management consulting firm, with a passion for impact.

We assist our clients in solving problems - setting the vision, developing a plan, and implementing with excellence. We are firm believers that while it is highly important to have a sound set of strategic initiatives and tactical plans, capturing the impact from them fundamentally depends upon the quality of the execution.

Meet the Leadership Team

Founder

Joanna Zarach

Joanna founded Glean Consulting in 2010, with the mission of creating a consulting service that would better help clients not just identify the right answer, but also implement those recommendations in a sustainable and enduring manner. Too often she had seen clients of other firms receive meaningful guidance, but then struggle to implement the recommendations.

She has a rigorous scientific training (Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University; B.Sc. in Biology, Brain and Cognitive Science from MIT), is an ex-McKinsey management consultant, and is passionate about deploying Big Data and AI to unlock new horizons of efficiency and growth.

Senior Partner

Todd Babbitz

Todd has 30 years of experience as a C-level executive in highly complex private sector and public sector enterprises, driving growth strategies as a management consultant to Fortune 500 and PE-owned companies. Todd was most recently the Chief Delivery Officer for INSIGHT2PROFIT, where he led a team of 140+ consultants focused on pricing and profitability solutions.

Prior to his time at INSIGHT2PROFIT, Todd was a Pricing Expert at McKinsey & Company, was the Chief Transformation Officer at Chicago Public Schools, was the Chief Marketing Officer for the Benefits Administration division of Aon Hewitt, and was a Partner in the multi-national law firm McDermott, Will & Emery, where he focused on antitrust, competition, and pricing laws.
